For orders within the European Union, no customs duties or import fees apply.

Shipments to the United States

We remind our customers in the United States that, according to current U.S. government regulations, books and editions of the nature of ours are subject to an import duty of 0%. Shipments to the UK

Orders of books and printed editions shipped from Spain to the United Kingdom are not subject to customs duties and are zero-rated for VAT. These items can therefore be imported without additional taxes.

Shipments to Hong Kong

Orders of books and printed editions shipped from Spain to Hong Kong are not subject to customs duties or VAT, as Hong Kong is a free port. Imports of books can therefore be received without additional taxes.

 

Shipments to Australia

Orders of books and printed editions shipped from Spain to Australia may be subject to customs duties (around 5%) and GST (10%) if the order value exceeds AUD 1,000. Below this threshold, books are generally exempt from duties and taxes.

 

Shipments to Canada
Orders of books and printed editions shipped from Spain to Canada are generally not subject to customs duties but are subject to Canadian GST/HST (typically 5–15%) based on the province. Additional provincial sales tax (PST) may also apply depending on the destination.
